As part of the Indian-European Multi-level Climate Governance Research Network (IECGN), the Department of Ecology and Environmental Sciences at the Pondicherry University is pleased to announce the Call For Papers for the 2015 International Conference on Climate Change Resilience. The Conference will be held on October 5th and 6th this year.

This two day conference aims to understand and manage the burning issues related to food, water, energy and forests in REDD+ and the current climate change scenario and resilience. Climate change resilience is to build up a strategy based on the processes involving people and the natural environment that enable our ecosystems tolerate disturbance without collapsing into a qualitatively different state.

Abstracts are invited for presentations in oral and poster formats in the following themes:

1. Food-Water-Health nexus
2. Water and Energy nexus
3. Forests, Biodiversity & Climate change resilience
4. Water Governance – Local/State/National/International
5. Technology Transfer and Financing for Climate Change Action
6. Climate Change Governance and Policies
 

Submissions should be sent through e-mail to icccr2015@gmail.com along with registration details (as prescribed here), abstracts (in .doc or .rtf format attachments) and registration fee (scanned copy of DD/cheque, original can be sent to address below).

Intimation of acceptance of abstracts: May 31, 2015

Last date for submission of full papers of selected abstracts/payment of registration fees: August 31, 2015
