Kuheli Mukhopadhyay is currently pursuing her Doctoral Research in the Department of Economics, at West Bengal State University, Barasat (Kolkata) in India. She is also working as a Research Associate at Global Change Programme, Jadavpur University (GCP-JU), Kolkata.  Her current research interests are Environmental and Health Economics, Heat Stress and Human Labour Productivity, Issues related to Sustainable Development, Economic and Social dimensions of Climate Change. She has also worked in the capacity of a Research Assistant for NATCOM ll Project of Govt. of India under GCP-JU. She has done her graduation from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata and has completed her Masters in Economics from Calcutta University with specialization in Statistics and Econometrics. She is a life member of Indian Society for Ecological Economics (INSEE).She has presented papers in national conferences, actively participated in different national and international conferences and workshops.
